Sony Bank Adds Two Funds to Investment Trusts Lineup and Offers Free Sales Commission for Index Funds

Sony Bank Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sony Financial Holdings, today announced the addition of two new funds to its investment trust offerings from May 24, 2010. Moreover, Sony Bank will offer free sales commission (no-load) for its Index Funds from June 2, 2010.

The two new funds are "HSBC Brazil Bond Open (Monthly Type)", which is managed by HSBC Global Asset Management (Japan) K.K. and "MHAM Australian Dollar Bond Fund (Monthly Distribution)", which is managed by Mizuho Asset Management Co., Ltd.

To respond to the wide range of individual customer asset management needs, Sony Bank enhances its investment trust lineup as well as offering free sales commission for other 13 Index Funds that Sony Bank offers. The no-load applies to those funds regardless of their investment amount or plans.

Going forward, Sony Bank will continue providing economically attractive and convenient investment trusts services.
