This tie-up enables Sony Assurance to introduce automobile insurance through a shinkin bank's over-the-counter channel for the first time.
Customers may receive an explanation, an estimate and a brochure for Sony Assurance's automobile insurance from Tama Shinkin Bank's qualified sales persons in some branches.
Sony Assurance will provide contract processing and follow-up services directly to customers who requested an estimate by utilizing its direct business model.
Sony Assurance strives to expand sales channels compatible with its direct business model by making use of marketing expertise cultivated over many years. As one of the important sales channels, Sony Assurance intends to aggressively expand sales through banks.
