Sony Bank and F&M Tie up in Conducting Banking Agency Business

Sony Bank Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sony Financial Holdings, today announced a tie-up with F&M Co., Ltd. ("F&M") in conducting banking agency business.

From December 7, 2009, as a banking agent for Sony Bank, F&M will begin offering Sony Bank's mortgage loans at three of F&M's staffed counters located in Osaka, Tokyo, and Nagoya. F&M will explain the details of Sony Bank's mortgage loans and to solicit potential customers, as well as to support application procedures.

This tie-up enables Sony Bank to expand its customer base and to strengthen mortgage services by utilizing F&M market network with highly qualified consulting staffs. Going forward, Sony Bank will keep responding to the mortgage needs of more customers by enhancing its sales channels.
