Sony Bank Enters ATM Affiliation with LAWSON ATM Networks

Sony Bank Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sony Financial Holdings, today announced the October 20, 2008, commencement of an ATM affiliation with LAWSON ATM Networks Inc. ("LANs"). Through this agreement, Sony Bank's accountholders will be able to make cash withdrawals, deposits and account balance inquiries, take out and repay card loans, and check card loan balances at ATMs operated by LANs essentially 24 hours a day*, 365 days a year. As of September 30, 2008, LANs operated 5,695 ATMs in 36 prefectures. ATM usage commissions are ¥105 for withdrawals (which are free of charge up to four times in a month). Cash deposits and balance inquiries are free of charge.

Going forward, Sony Bank will continue striving to enhance customer convenience.

*Services are unavailable each week from 9:00p.m. on Sunday to 7:00a.m. on Monday.
