Sony Bank Adds New Funds to its Investment Trust Offering

Sony Bank, a 88.0%-owned subsidiary of Sony Financial Holdings, today announced the May 29, 2006 addition of the following three new funds to its investment trust offerings. In commemoration of the launch, Sony Bank will have a half-price cash-back campaign on sales commissions for the three funds during the period from May 29, 2006 to July 28, 2006.

New funds to be added to the lineups are as follows:

  • Schroders BRICs Equity Fund, operated by Schroders Investment Management (Japan) Limited
  • Fidelity World Diversification Fund (Fixed Income Oriented Type), operated by Fidelity Investments Japan
  • Fidelity World Diversification Fund (Equity Oriented Type), operated by Fidelity Investments Japan

These additions increase Sony Bank's investment trust offerings to a total of 48, through 17 different companies. Going forward, Sony Bank will continue responding to diverse customer needs for investments by expanding its lineup of its investment trust offerings.
