Sony Bank Adds Three Funds to Investment Trusts Lineup

Sony Bank Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sony Financial Holdings, today announced the addition of three new funds to its investment trust offerings. On September 7, 2009, the bank will commence sales of the Chuo Mitsui Dow Jones Index Fund (operated by Chuo Mitsui Asset Management Co., Ltd.), the Hong Kong Hang Seng Index Fund (operated by Sumitomo Mitsui Asset Management Company, Limited), and the DIAM Asia Consumption And Infrastructure Related Stock Fund (operated by DIAM Co., Ltd.); which invests in Asian stocks primarily China and India and evenly allocated into two sectors, the infrastructure and the consumption, both are drivers of Asian economic growth.

These three additions will raise the number of investment trusts Sony Bank sells to 64 funds operated by 24 companies. Going forward, Sony Bank will continue providing attractive lineup of investment trusts that meet customers' long-term needs for asset management.
