Sony Bank Adds Three Index Funds to Investment Trust Lineup

Sony Bank Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sony Financial Holdings, today announced the addition of three new funds to its investment trust offerings. On January 19, 2009, the bank will commence sales of World Economic Index Fund, STAM Emerging Stocks Index Open, and Emerging Bond Index Open. All three funds are operated by STB Asset Management Co., Ltd. Sony Bank will provide 100% cash back on sales commissions for these funds until March 31, 2009 by applying to its investment trusts special program for the winter 2008 bonus season.
These three additions will raise the number of investment trusts Sony Bank sells to 66 funds operated by 25 companies. Going forward, Sony Bank will continue providing an attractive lineup of investment trusts that meet customers' diverse needs for asset management.
