Sony Bank Starts a Special Program for the Summer 2007 Bonus Season

1. Special Bonus Season Interest Rates on Yen Time Deposits
During the bonus season, Sony Bank will apply special interest rates that will be announced on the bank's Japanese website on June 4, 2007, to yen time deposits that commence from June 4, 2007, to September 2, 2007.
2. Foreign Currency Deposit Campaign
During the bonus season, Sony Bank will apply special interest rates that will be announced on the bank's Japanese website on June 4, 2007, to time deposits denominated in all foreign currencies and for all available deposit periods. The rates apply to foreign currency time deposits that commence from June 4, 2007, to July 29, 2007.
In addition, Sony Bank will apply the following reduced exchange fees to convert yen into foreign currencies and reduced commissions on limit orders during the period from 8:00 a.m. on June 4, 2007, to 5:59 a.m. on July 28, 2007.

3. Cash Back for 50% Sales Commissions in 42 Funds in Commemoration of Surpassing ¥100 Billion in the Balance of Investment Trusts
Sony Bank will offer 50% cash back on commissions for 42 funds applied for during the period from June 4, 2007 to July 13, 2007. The cash back will be paid to customers in mid-August 2007.
4. Gift of 500 Yen to Customers Who Transfer to Sony Bank
Sony Bank will add a one-time gift of 500 yen to the accounts of customers who make a single transfer of more than 1 million yen from another financial institution to a Sony Bank ordinary yen deposit account during the period from June 4, 2006, to August 31, 2007. The gift will be added to customers' ordinary yen deposit accounts in mid-September 2007.
Going forward, Sony Bank will continue providing advantageous asset management opportunities in response to customers' asset management needs.
