Sony Assurance's Announcement of Executive Appointments

Sony Assurance Inc. (hereinafter "Sony Assurance"), a wholly-owned non-life insurance subsidiary of Sony Financial Holdings, today announced that it has determined the new management structure. The selections are subject to the approval of Sony Assurance's Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders and the Board of Directors Meeting to be held on June 22, 2006.
