Sony Bank Starts Settlement Service with Credit Cards

Sony Bank Inc. (hereafter "Sony Bank"), a 87.4%-owned subsidiary of Sony Financial Holdings Inc., today announced that it will commence settlement services with three kinds of credit cards, enabling cardholders to settle payments through Sony Bank's yen ordinary deposits accounts. The settlement service will be available from December 5, 2005.
Sony Bank will begin handling three credit cards affiliated with Sony Bank: "MONEYKit SAISON American Express Card" and "MONEYKit SAISON JCB Card", both issued from Credit Saison Co., Ltd., as well as "My Sony Card" issued from Sony Finance International, Inc., a wholly-owned leasing and credit financing business subsidiary of Sony Corporation.
For Sony Bank's existing customers, online paperless applications are available for the above credit cards.
Going forward, Sony Bank will continue working to expand its settlement services.
